Welcome to ICNEA 2023

2023 6th International Conference on New Energy and Applications (ICNEA 2023), will be held in Sapporo, Japan during November 3-5, 2023 as a workshop of ACESD. ICNEA 2023 will be sponsored by iNech, IJSGCE and technically supported by Yokohama National University, National Institute for Environmental Studies, Nagasaki University and Japan International Cooperation Agency. It is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the field of new energy and applications.

It aims to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, and professinals from the industry, academia and government to discourse on research and development, professional practice in new enery and applications.

The conference serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving new energy technology and related techniques. It also brings authors and readers of SGCE together to communicate face to face and discuss chances for possible cooperation and hot topics in the field of new energy and applications.

[JAN. 9, 2023] The organizing committee has decided to hold ICNEA 2023 in Sapporo, Japan during November 3-5, 2023. You're welcome to participate in the conference.

[AUG. 16, 2022] Final call! ICNEA 2022 submission deadline has been extended to September 10, 2022.

[JAN. 23, 2022] ICNEA 2022 will be held in Kyoto, Japan during November 4-6. The submission is already open.

[NOV. 24, 2021] ICNEA 2021 has been switched to a fully virtual conference given the intense situation of COVID-19 epidemic.

[AUG. 31, 2021] Final call! The submission deadline of ICNEA 2021 has been extended to September 25.

[FEB. 02, 2021] The organizing committee has decided to hold ICNEA in Phuket, Thailand during November 6-8, 2021. You're welcome to participate in the conference.

[NOV. 18, 2019] Thank you for your participation and support to ICNEA 2019. We're looking forward to seeing you all next year.

Paper Publication

Submitted papers will be reviewed by the conference technical committees,  and accepted papers of ICNEA will be included the ACESD conference proceedings as a workshop, and submitted for indexing by EI Compendex, Scopus, etc.

A few selected papers will be recommended to International Journal of Smart Grid and Clean Energy for publication after being extended, which will be indexed by Inspec, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, Google Scholar, Crossref, etc.

It's acceptable to submit your abstract to us for only oral presentation if you're not expecting any publication of your paper.

Authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references. Full text papers (.pdf, .doc) will be accepted via iConference submission system below:

Submissions must be original and should not have been published or under consideration for publication elsewhere, which will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program.


All the attendees must register in advance in order to participate in conference activities. Each registration enables publication or presentation of only one paper and participation of only one person.

Full Registration Includes: Admission to Keynotes&Plenaries, Technical Sessions, Coffee Breaks, Lunch, Dinner, Hard Copy of the journal (For authors) and a gift.

Registration Note:
1. Paper Length Limitation: The paper must fit into 12 pages, while additional pages will be permitted at the cost of $50 per additional page, if exceeds 12 pages (A maximum of 20 pages is acceptable).
2. Additional Paper: Each paid registration covers only one paper; you can pay Additional Paper Fee (350 USD) for one more paper from the same first author who already has a paid registration.)

Cancellation Policy

All refund/cancellation requests must be provided via email to icnea@etpub.com  and received by September 30. No refund will be provided after this date.
